The aim of this module is to describe and justify an approach that considers environmental effects, costs and qualities in the decision process leading to a more sustainable environment. The approach can be used on different scale levels from building materials, over construction elements and buildings to campus or district level.

The general objective of the program is to present points of reference for developing an architectural project and for calling it ‘sustainable'. The challenge here is to incorporate the various scales of the residential experience that the project is helping to construct, by integrating issues related to territorial management, mobility and users' lifestyles

The objective of this module is to take into account the effect of the interaction with industry, with energy between buildings, with the maximizing of synergies between activities and buildings and considering a good mix of activities and with eco-district.
10/05/2010 - MODULE INNOVATION METHODOLOGY - ORI
This training brings structure to creative idea generation, and demonstrates how to transfer benefits and ideas from across all domains. In an open innovation environment, the participants will discuss new and interesting opportunities, providing a creative external view on their innovation management. Due to the specific content of the training, the participants will immediately experience the practical application of the methodology.

Voor mensen die (door hun opleiding) heel erg gericht zijn op inhoud, techniek, kennis, ... is het niet zo evident om een team te leiden, coachen en motiveren. Bij het opnemen van een leidinggevende functie is het voor hen niet altijd eenvoudig om de klik te maken van het inhoudelijke, naar het menselijke en procesmatige aspect. Nochtans is het voor elke leidinggevende cruciaal om zich die vaardigheden eigen te maken die focussen op mensen, relaties en het interactieproces.

Deze opleiding helpt als leidraad om zo succesvol mogelijk en conform alle wetgeving, overheidsopdrachten uit te voeren. Bedoeling is de deelnemers – waarvan verondersteld wordt dat zij reeds ervaring hebben met de wetgeving overheidsopdrachten – een meer diepgaande opleiding te geven rond de spelregels van de wetgeving overheidsopdrachten in de praktijk.
10/05/2010 - MODULE VERGADER -, COMMUNICATIE - EN ONDERHANDELINGSTECHNIEKEN - ORI
Deze opleiding is gericht op efficiënter werken. De cursus Vergadertechnieken behandelt dan ook het aanleren van alle nodige functionele vaardigheden en persoonlijkheidsaspecten om efficiënt te vergaderen, vanuit herkenbare praktische cases. De cursus Communicatie leert de presentatietechnieken bij te stellen met oog voor het publiek, media en strategische communicatie. De cursus Onderhandelingstechnieken ten slotte, benadert onderhandelen als een strategie, een vaardigheid om tot een effectieve en succesvolle oplossing te komen.
10/05/2010 - MODULE PROJECTCYCLUS EN PROJECT MANAGEMENT - ORI
De opleiding Projectmanagement focust op het afbakenen en definiëren van een project, het plannen van het verloop van het project, en ook specifiek op het communiceren en rapporteren erover. Daarnaast heeft de cursus Projectscysclus als doel het duidelijk stellen van wat men van een adviseur-ontwerper binnen een project verwacht. Deze opleiding duurt twee dagen en is in het Engels.

This module aims to describe an approach where all aspects of building from the early design stage of human artifacts till usage and deconstruction contribute to a more sustainable environment. Opdrachtgevers, zowel private als publieke, hebben veel aandacht voor veiligheid en verwachten van hun opdrachtnemers dezelfde inzet. Daarom slaan ORI en PREVENT de handen in elkaar, en bieden ze een opleiding aan voor leidinggevenden in advies- en ingenieursbureaus, specifiek ontworpen voor de sector.
17/06/2010 - 17 & 18 JUNI 2010 - MODULE BOUW- EN SLOOPAFVAL (AFVALSTOFFENINVENTARIS) - ORI
Bouw- en sloopafval zijn een heel belangrijke afvalstroom. Een dieper inzicht in het vermijden ervan, in duurzaam bouwen en kennis over de laatste wijzigingen (13 feb 2009) van afvalstoffendecreet VLAREA zijn dan ook onontbeerlijk. ORI en sloopwerkconfederatie CASO slaan de handen in elkaar en bieden een tweedaagse opleiding aan voor advies- en ingenieursbureaus, specifiek ontworpen om om te gaan met alle afvalproblemen van de sector en meerbepaald de opmaak van de afvalstoffeninventaris.
