The “Blueprint” project for the construction sector

The “Blueprint” initiative is a new framework for strategic cooperation in specific economic sectors between key stakeholders with the aim to support an overall sectoral strategy and to develop concrete actions to address short and medium term skills needs.

The European Commission organised a seminar for the first 5 “Blueprint” projects that started 1 year ago covering the automotive, maritime technology, space-geo information, textile and clothing and tourism sectors.

The seminar provided an opportunity to share knowledge, to reflect on the challenges and breakthroughs so far, and to meet with stakeholders among and beyond the partnerships that will help to maximise the sustainability and impact of each “Blueprint” in years to come.

The “Blueprint” project for the construction sector will start at the end of January 2019 with a kick-off meeting in Madrid and will last for 4 years.
